After collaborating on various projects and being friends for over a decade, Irene Puyol and Carlos Piera decided to found a theatre company: Lo maravilloso (The Marvelous). Their interests include social issues, the city as a space for memory and identity, and the blend of the poetic, the existential and the everyday. With a solid background in theatre studies, Irene holds a degree in Literature and Carlos in Dramatic Arts, both are interested in the classics and text-based theatre, without renouncing contemporary languages.
